Full song to be released on all streaming platforms Friday

J-Hope of BTS is giving fans an exclusive first listen to his latest single, “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” on TikTok for a week before it becomes available on major streaming platforms.
About 19 seconds of the track was released on TikTok at 11 p.m., Feb. 28 following the first night of his world tour, "Hope on the Stage," at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. The full song officially drops on all streaming services at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Blending pop and R&B, “Sweet Dreams” is a heartfelt serenade about love and longing, featuring Grammy-winning R&B artist Miguel. Known for his smooth vocals and genre-blending sound, Miguel has received 13 Grammy nominations across categories such as Best R&B Song, Song of the Year and Best R&B Album.
As part of the prerelease campaign, J-Hope’s official TikTok account introduced a “pre-save” feature, allowing fans to add the track to their Apple Music and Spotify playlists ahead of its wide release. Videos related to the single have also been uploaded to the official TikTok accounts of J-Hope and BTS and searching for “J-Hope” or “Sweet Dreams” on the platform leads to a dedicated prerelease page with exclusive content.
“It’s significant that J-Hope is not only actively engaging with the TikTok community but also choosing to prerelease his new song exclusively here,” said Park Ju-young, manager of Artist and Label Partnerships at TikTok Korea, on Tuesday.
J-Hope launched his official TikTok account on Jan. 24, and within two weeks, his videos had surpassed 100 million views. As of Tuesday, he boasts 9.67 million followers, further reinforcing his global influence.
BTS has also maintained a strong presence on TikTok, collaborating with the platform for last year’s “2023 BTS FESTA” campaign in celebration of the group’s 10th anniversary. Its official TikTok account remains the third-largest among music artists worldwide.
