Korea Medical Institute, one of Korea’s leading medical checkup institutions, on Thursday announced the publication of its “I AM KMI,” picture book to promote healthy lifestyles among children in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

The book’s protagonist, KMI, serves as a health guardian who connects with young readers by introducing health-related concepts and promoting physical and emotional well-being in a fun and interactive way.

To enhance engagement, the book also includes various edutainment elements such as coloring activities, maze games and pop quizzes.

“Since childhood habits have a lasting impact into adulthood, children must develop healthy daily rhythms early on,” said KMI Chairman Lee Kwang-bae. “We hope this book serves as a gateway for kids to build a strong foundation for a healthy lifestyle.”

KMI operates eight checkup centers nationwide and has been actively involved in social contribution initiatives since its establishment in Korea in 1985.
