SK Energy partners with Cathay Pacific to expand green aviation fuel exports
Korean oil refiner SK Energy announced Tuesday that it recently signed a comprehensive partnership with Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific Airways to promote the expansion of its sustainable aviation fuel exports. The partnership explores the potential supply of SAF for cargo planes in addition to its current use in passenger aircraft, and considers exporting the fuel for use at overseas airports, according to SK Energy. Hyundai retains No. 3 spot in EV sales outside China
Hyundai Motor Group maintained its position as the third-largest automaker in electric vehicle sales outside China in January, according to a report by SNE Research released Monday. The report stated that Hyundai Motor Group delivered 37,000 EVs — including all-electric and plug-in hybrid models — outside of China in January, holding onto the third-place ranking it achieved last year. Humanoid Atlas readies for Hyundai's assembly lines
Boston Dynamics’ latest Atlas humanoid robot is being trained in a lab ahead of its deployment at Hyundai Motor Group’s production plants later this year. LS secures $25m deal to supply aluminum cables to US solar projects
Korea's LS Cable & System and its Vietnam-based subsidiary, LS Eco Energy, will supply $25 million worth of aluminum electricity cables to a US solar power facility company, LS Cable & System announced Thursday. 30 residents evacuated after apartment fire in Daegu
A fire caused by a butane gas explosion in a Daegu apartment led to 30 residents being evacuated on Monday. The fire began at 8:59 a.m. after a portable stove gas canister exploded while the resident was boiling gomtang, or beef-bone soup.
